Job Overview:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced financial professional to be a part of our Budget unit. As a team member, your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and managing the payment calendar for the agency
  • Meeting with ODM program staff and policy managers to scope payment dates for special cycle directed payments
  • Assists in reviewing federal and state policy changes for cost impact to the agency
The preferred candidate will have a passion for working in teams along with extensive state budgeting knowledge and strong analysis abilities.

Qualifications

54 mos. exp. or 54 mos. trg. financial administration.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in financial administration.

-Or completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in financial administration.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
