As part of TCEQ Compliance and Enforcement, you would help ensure that those we regulate comply with the state's environmental laws.
This position is a member of our North Central & West Texas region.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Qualifications:
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree and two years of full-time experience working in an office environment.
OR
Three years of full-time experience performing supervisory, managerial, professional or technical work which must include: analysis of work problems having an administrative aspect and interpretation of complex written material; or planning, organizing, and coordinating requirements for support services or program operations where a wide range of demands are involved, including interpretation of complex written material.
OR
Graduation from a standard senior high school or its equivalent plus seven years of fulltime experience in an administrative capacity*.
Fifteen semester hours from an accredited college or university may be substituted for each six months of the required experience with a maximum substitution of four years.

As part of TCEQ Compliance and Enforcement, you would help ensure that those we regulate comply with the state's environmental laws.
This position is a member of our North Central & West Texas region.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Coordinate and monitor the administrative functions of the regional office to include work related to human resources, budget, purchasing, property management, payroll, timekeeping, and travel authorizations/vouchers.
- Attend managers meetings and record/maintain meeting minutes; disseminates information regarding agency and office administrative procedures. Serve as primary contact for CAPPS timekeeping, and personnel related issues.
- Coordinate communication with internal/external customers; answer phones and routes phone calls appropriately. Maintain calendars, schedule appointments and plan meetings and reserve conference rooms.
- Keep regional management team and staff informed of regional activities and administrative procedures. Advise on administrative issues impacting the region to include offering recommendations and/or solutions in compliance with state/agency policies and regulations.
Qualifications:

- Experience working with budgets and purchasing.
