Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus two years of full-time experience performing supervisory, managerial, professional or technical work which must include: analysis of work problems having an administrative aspect and interpretation of complex written material; or planning, organizing, and coordinating requirements for support services or program operations where a wide range of demands are involved, including interpretation of complex written material.
*Administrative capacity is work where primary duties consist of performing administrative tasks of an office, excluding work such as clerical, secretarial, sales, equipment operations, and manual labor.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in reviewing/analyzing financial reports such as cash flow schedules and debt service schedules.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
- Assist with routine bond applications to determine eligibility of projects and feasibility of issuing bonds; assist with the creation of applications in accordance with statues and rules to determine if a district is feasible, practicable, necessary and a benefit to the land; assist with financial related applications materials and generate financial debt service and cash-flows schedules, and review market studies related to rules regarding creations and bond issues.
- Perform reviews of routine water district applications to ensure compliance with appropriate statutes and rules; work closely with senior level staff to compile information to generate compliance reports and make recommendations consistent with TCEQ rules and statutes for management review and approval.
- Communicate and interact regularly with the regulated communities, including district attorneys, engineers, and financial advisors. Work closely and effectively with TCEQ legal staff on application matters.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus two years of full-time experience performing supervisory, managerial, professional or technical work which must include: analysis of work problems having an administrative aspect and interpretation of complex written material; or planning, organizing, and coordinating requirements for support services or program operations where a wide range of demands are involved, including interpretation of complex written material.
- One year of full-time experience in an administrative capacity* may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of the required education.
- A graduate degree in public administration, business administration, human resources administration, environmental resource management, planning, or an area relevant to the position from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
*Administrative capacity is work where primary duties consist of performing administrative tasks of an office, excluding work such as clerical, secretarial, sales, equipment operations, and manual labor.
