The Center for Public Health Operations is within the Public Health division. The Center for Public Health Operations has five Bureaus which include: Administrative Operations, Contracts and Procurement, Grants Management, Finance and Budget and Human Resources. The five bureaus support the various programs throughout Public Health.

Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date.

Why does the job exist?

The Management Analyst position supports the Center for Public Health Operations by way of tracking and maintaining a workflows, compiling reports for the center director and working closely with the bureaus to maintain compliance and meet deadlines. The Manager Analyst will assist with various PHD processes and monitor progress.

How does it get done?

This position will conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies and prepare operations and procedure manuals to assist management in operation more efficiently and effectively. This position will work closely with center managers and bureau chiefs and program leads to ensure information is reported in a timely manner, compile databases, research and review policies and procedures. The Management analysis will also assist in tracking and supporting the MAC billing process, monitor chilinet deadlines and attend meetings as needed. Some projects will require teamwork and other projects will require independent work with the Center director. The Manager Analyst will perform standardized work procedures that support the development of the above documents and reports.

This job will work closes with the divisions with in Public Health.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have advanced experience in the following: smart-sheet, excel, Power BI Word, and power-point. Two years' experience in complex administrative duties requiring implementation of business processes improvements. Two years' experience in preparing reports for management ¿ Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information
to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment.
